FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
- How much notice do you need to book a trip?
We are on call 24/7, but it is nice to have at least a 7 to 10 day notice. - We also do carrier’s convenience.
Carrier’s convenience is when we do our best to put together a trip going in the most direct direction for your horse to shorten the length of time spent on the trailer. We will call when we are 2 to 3 days from the load date. - What size stall should my horse travel in?
It is entirely up to the owner of the horse. There are three different types of stall’s single stall, a stall and a half or a boxstall. We recommend the boxstall for long trips, the most commonly used is the stall and a half. The single stall is not recommended unless it is a pony going locally. - Hay and Watering
In route we will stop every 4 to 5 hours to hay & water. - Insurance
We carry $2000.00 mortality insurance on each horse. - Should I wrap my horse’s legs?
This is up to the owner. If you do decide to put wraps on and they slip down their legs, we will remove them for the safety of the horse. - Health Certificate and Coggins.
Every state requires you to have them if you are crossing state lines. Some enforce it and some don’t, but we require an update heath certificate and coggins to get on the truck. This protects your horse and everyone else’s horse from disease.
